Poople Hint is a daily companion site for Poople, the word ladder game where you turn a 4-letter start word into POOP one letter at a time.

Every day we publish the current puzzle's start word and the shortest known ladder to POOP, keep a complete archive of past puzzles, and offer a free word ladder solver you can point at any 4-letter word.

How answers are computed

Answers are generated automatically: we determine the day's start word, then run a breadth-first search over the accepted word list to find every shortest path to POOP. When several equally short ladders exist, we surface the ones built from the most common words.
